"WATER'S EDGE" SPOILERS AHEAD:

So, I've upset you, you say...
Although I make no apologies for the story as it stands,
here are a few things you might want to know.

#1--*I* am a die hard M/S Shipper.  I also believe 
    in predominantly happy endings.
#2--The Scully/Daniel thing IS going to happen, so 
    if you just can't stomach that, you might as well 
    get out.:)  But I would appreciate it if you would
    give my characterization of him a chance.  Personally,
    I don't think we ever got to see Daniel at his best,
    but I did think that Scully's reactions to him in 
    'all things' implied there was a much better side to
    him that we had yet to see.  I have faith in Scully's
    judgment.
#3--There WILL be an explanation for the Gunmen's
    continuing deception, and for where Mulder went and why.
#4--This story has a LONG way to go...:)
